BACKUP!

When you've made a wrong turn, backup.
You can return to the intersection and get back on track.
When things don't seem right anymore, backup.
You can find your way if you go back to the last time you felt right.
When things go dark, backup.
You were there! Just remember the choice that blinded you and step back into the light.
When you didn't understand what you read, backup.
Take the time to understand the deeper meaning in the words and spirit of what you read.
When you want to preserve the good, backup.
Write your memories down, they will comfort you later.
When you recognize that things change without you, backup.
Save your abundance while you have it and pass it on to your children.
When what you're working on is too important to loose, backup.
All things eventually fail, so take the time to preserve your legacy.
Don't wait, backup.
Now is the best time to backup.

NEW

This is a new year.  Time for the NEW topic.
New happens every time I finish something.  That time is filled with new things.

New thoughts
New feelings
New experiences
New relationships
New vision
New hope
New life

I feel OLD, but that is just because I don't want to let it go--finish it as it were.
I hold on to things, thoughts, feelings.  Some I never want to loose, so I hold on... ...until I find it is holding me.  Have you every been hugged by someone longer than you feel comfortable.  I get that feeling when I look back at thing I have been holding on to unnessicerily.

Today is a time to look at what I am holding and release what I no longer need to carry.

Good Morning

OUT OF CONTROL

I do not control.

Outside my own actions and my own thoughts I do not control anything.

As I am addicted in any way to patterns of thought that are not good I am not in control of my thoughts or actions. Therefore, any habit, drug or substance that impairs my ability to use my brain to think, or my heart to serve others, or my spirit to avoid my God, I am out of control. My life is unmanageable.

I feel out of control when I am interested in changing anyone, for any reason. There are many things that bring me pain, sorrow, and grieving, because I care for others— I cannot change these things myself, but hope in the God who has the ability to cleans their heart as He has mine.

He cannot change me or others unless we turn to our will to His and have faith in Him. I desire much for myself and my family that he has ordained. These things, I am sure are worthy of my concern. Caring about things that are of little matter after this life, I find are usually the suspects that cause me grief and pull down my resolve. I give my will over to my higher power, my God, my Father in Heaven and trust in the power of my Savior Jesus Christ to heal me. I listen for the Spirit which confirms truth for inspiration of what will be the will of God for me and direct my energies there.
May it be so, Amen.
