I have been there and back so often that it just makes sense that my current employment puts me in both places each week. I am learning so much. Working 7 days a week is taking it's toll, but it seems that the work of the Lord is needed in both places as well in our own homes. Here are some observations that you may find interresting.
The House of the Lord
Ok that looks like a church. Well it is and where I work is very simular to a church, but not exactly since I can't show you inside. Let's just say it is holy ground and photos are not appropriate. I can tell you about the patrons. They come from all walks of life, all adult ages, all ethnicities, all education levels. Something they all have in common is that they sat before a common judge and were recommended worthy to enter.
High security prison
Now that is a prison, but I can't show you inside.
I'm just going to have to describe what it is like, but not everything is appropriate to share. Let's start with the inmates. They come from all walks of life, all adult ages, all ethnicities, all education levels. The one thing in common, a judge sent them there because the jury deemed the crime worthy of incarceration.
I hope to write a book about it some time, but for now lets just say that a whole lot of Jesus happens in both places.
