Father,
You have been a man of God, a man to pattern myself after.
You have loved your wife, served your children, taught the youth, and dedicated your life to honorable priesthood service to your family, saints, and any who would hear your voice. You were a peculiar example that others were compelled to ask you about. You always shared a reason for the hope you had in Christ.
Your name will be had by me for good in all things.
I desire to be called Father, because of the honor you have given that name.
When you meet our Father, I pray you will prepare a place for me.
